What started off life as a loose spin-off from the 2000 film Saving Grace rapidly became a smash hit filmed on our doorsteps here in Cornwall, with the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac starring as Doc Martin’s fictional counterpart, Portwenn. ![]() First gracing our TV screens in September 2004 - and several “will they come back again” moments later - it’s been confirmed that next year will see the plug pulled on Doc Martin for the final time after series 10. ![]()
